He was predeceased by: his parents, William N. Boswell and Barbara Marie Boswell (Schafer); his wife Helen Frances Boswell (Finking); his brothers, Dr. William J. Boswell and Thomas P. Boswell; and his niece Linda Boswell.
He is survived by: his nephew John Boswell; and his nieces, Barbara Huff (Ed) and Julee Taylor (Shawn).
