William Davenport Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Davenport of Barton, Ohio, who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stewart Davenport and Jacqueline "Jackie" Cain Davenport; his granddaughter Anna Marie; his siblings-in-law, Charles Baier, Manuel Benitez and Bonnie Davenport; and his aunts, Mary, Juanita and Annie.

He is survived by: his wife Fannie Jone Murphy Davenport; his children, William "Billy" Davenport, II (Ethelyn) and Elizabeth Davenport; his siblings, James "Jim" Davenport, Gary Davenport (Donna), Virginia "Ginny" Leonard and Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Baier; his sister-in-law Jane Benitez; his grandsons, Christopher Fulton, William Corey Davenport and William Dallas Davenport; and his great grandchildren, Abigial, Savannah, Benjamin, Armani, Payton and Christian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Faith Church in Pleasant Grove or Living Waters at the Well in Barton.
