She was predeceased by: her spouse J. B. Byrd; her son Danny Byrd; her siblings, Madeline Wallace, Hannah Mallott, Mabel "Bobbie" Berry and James Neff; and her parents, Samuel H. Neff and Bessie C. Neff.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Riley (James), Gary Byrd (Carol) and David Byrd; her grandchildren, James "JJ" Riley, Charity Woolwine (Mike), Erica Byrd and Ashley Byrd (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Courtney Demaris (Zach), Zachary Riley (Alayna), Madelynn Meeks (Tyler), Connor Woolwine and Katelynn Woolwine; and her great great grandchild Gatlin Meeks. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
