He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie R. Cope and Audrey M. Cope; and his brothers, Dan (Cathy) and D. Dwight Cope. He is survived by: his wife Janet Kay Cope; his sons, Anthony (Kelly) and Jeffery Cope (Elizabeth); his sister Donna Fitzpatrick (Jim); his grandchildren, Brittany Monroe (Terry) and Devin Cope; and his great grandchildren, Isabella and Mackenzie Monroe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
