Betsy Schirmer Obituary
The memory of Betsy Schirmer of Batavia, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon "Bud" Scheeler and Muriel Scheeler (Laake); and her siblings, Judy and Robert. She is survived by: her husband Ronn Schirmer; her children, Shannon Tenkman (Scott), Martin Wietlisbach (Barbara), David Wietlisbach (Nivemarie Leituala), Beth Lakes (Brian), Patrick (late Hailey) and Andrew Schirmer (Kelsey); her grandchildren, Caleb, Nate, Sam, Lydia, Martin, Allen, James, Haylee, Gabe, Aliyah, Tevis and Charolette; and her siblings, Joanne, Marianne, Jeff, Jimmy and Tad.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (1479 Locust Lake Rd, Amelia, OH 45102). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
