He was predeceased by: his son Shane Hendrix (Sherrie); and his parents, Henry Hendrix and Sally Hendrix. He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Johnson (Ron) and Shauna Schrichten (Mar McCollum); his grandchildren, Misty Carver, Elaina Hagler, Kimberly Lewis, Amanda Turner, Zachary Schrichten, Caleb Corrill, Jacob Corrill, Annie Serrano, Drew Hendrix and Chase Hendrix; his friend Irene Corrill; Jamie Corrill (Karen).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
