He was predeceased by: his parents, William K. Downey and Ellen L. Martin Downey; his sisters, Jan Fehrman and Sue Eubank; and his brother-in-law Bob Fehrman.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Downey (Elizabeth), Johnny Downey (Mark Lutterbeck) and Tom Downey (Deena); his grandchildren, Jack, Harper Downey, Graham and Gray Downey; and his close friend Don Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Cincinnati Lab Rescue, Freestore Foodbank or charity of your choice which would be an appreciated tribute to Dave.
