He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Ungethuem and Sophia Ungethuem; his brothers, Carl and Jim Ungethuem; and his sisters-in-law, Lily, Irma and Wanda Ungethuem.
He is survived by: his wife Holly; and his daughters, Michele Raper (Willam), Suzanne Embry (Kenneth) and Sarah Gadbury (Todd). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Batavia Faith United Methodist Church (180 N 5th St, Batavia, OH 45103). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at 4240 Cemetery Ln, Batavia, OH 45103.
