He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Bavis and Cecille Bavis. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his son David Bavis (Xiaozhen); his grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle and Kara; his goddaughter Joy Tessi; and his caregivers, Maribel Hernandez and Viviana Manriquez.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Ed's honor to the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch.
