In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gary had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Gary may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kleinwaechter and Ellen Kleinwaechter (Selm); and his wife Iona Kleinwaechter (Truett). He is survived by: his close friend Janet Carpenter (Christie) of Batavia; his siblings, Teri Obert (Kleinwaechter) of Springdale, Mary Morley (Kleinwaechter) of Bright and Gerald Kleinwaechter of Bellbrook; and his son Stephen Truett. He is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hodapp Funeral Homes - West Chester (8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Gary was proud to have served in the Marines, and proud of his Dad's service as a Hamilton County Sheriff, the family asks not for a donation, or flowers, but to honor Gary by offering to buy a lunch, or drink for a veteran or police officer should you be out and have the opportunity.
