She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvo Orpo Nakari and Violet Lillian Nakari (Salminen); her husband Larry "Joe" Moorehead; and her siblings, Hartley Halunen (Lois) and Donald Halunen (Joann).

She is survived by: her children, Kim Beard (David) of Batavia, Joey Moorehead (Melody) of Batavia, Lori Cook (Moorehead) of Cincinnati, Kaye Vickery (Moorehead) of Cincinnati and Lisa Moorehead of Batavia; her grandchildren, Ryan (Marissa), Brandon, Dylan, Jared, Maddie, Will, Angel, Alesha, Tiffany, Josh, Joey (Alyssa) and Hunter; her close friend Kriskes of Minnesota; and her siblings, Pat Willis (late Bill) of Duluth, MN, Rodney Halunen (Mary Lou) of Virgina, MN and Dan Nakari of Long Beach, CA.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
