He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Smith and Shirley Smith (Wash); his son David Weigel; his siblings, Ed Smith, Tonja Miller and Linda Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Phillip Corbin, Bob Trainor, Bob Miller, Grover Puckett and Sherry Weigel.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Weigel (Corbin); his children, Katie Barnwell (Brian) of Harlan Township, Ohio, Matt Weigel (Erin) of Spring Hill and Christopher Pennington (Sarah Ankrom) of Edgewood, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kaine, Bobby Ray, Carolina, Kayden, Liam, Carter, Cole, Claire and Jack; his siblings, Mary Ann Lefker (Tom), Sonja Puckett, Mike Weigel, Carol Trainor, April Mullens (Bill), Diana Smith, Faith Maupin (David) and Walter Smith (Jean); his brother-in-law Alan Corbin (Carolyn); and his pets, Titan, Ruby, Lizzy, Sammy and Bella. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
