Steve leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steve’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steve will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cooper and Alma Jo Cooper (Conley); and his son Eric Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cooper; his daughter Kimberly Tinne (Patrick); his grandchildren, Haley Croucher (Corey) and Christian Croucher; his brother Dennis Cooper (Judy); and his niece Amy Cooper. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Christian Church (4110 Bach Buxton Rd, Batavia, OH 45103). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
