She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: Charles "Chuck" Mockbee; children: Jeffrey (Tama) Mockbee, Traci Mockbee, and Michael (Patti) Mockbee; grandchildren: Megan (Mike) Caulfield, Mark Mockbee, Joseph Mockbee, Nicole Mockbee, Madelyn (Timothy Kent) Mockbee, Brittany Hunt, Lindsey Mockbee, Andrew Mockbee and Benjamin Hunt; great grandchildren: Charlie, Morgan and Margaret Caulfield; sister: Maureen (Arthur) Plate; nieces/nephews: Mindy (Doug) Bower and Andrew (Gina) Plate; parents: Morris and Roseberda Wasserman; brother: Jay Wasserman; parents-in-law: Russel Mockbee and Lula Mockbee; daughter-in-law: JoAnne Mockbee (Valcho).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel (85 N Miller Rd, Akron, OH 44333). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bath United Church of Christ (3980 W Bath Rd, Akron, OH 44333).
