He is survived by : his children, Mark Vaness (Pam) of Beallsville and Lora Cox (Richard Haney) of Beallsville; his grandchildren, Ashlie Vaness (Gary Childress), Josh Cox (Kelsey LaFollette), Devon Knowlton (Katey) and Dustin Knowlton; his great grandchildren, Emma, Waylon and Jentry; and his siblings, Ray Vaness, Ralph Vaness (Sue) and Sylvia Hoke (Frank). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
