He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen Violet McDaniel and Earl Gholston McDaniel; his siblings-in-law, Larry Brewster and Arlene Kane; and his niece Tay Leonhardt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Kane and Denise Brewster; his children, Mark McDaniel, Matthew McDaniel, Jessica Kildow (Travis), Olivia Schroeder-McDaniel and Jacob Schroeder-McDaniel; his grandchildren, Gabriel Kildow, Gauge Kildow, Gideon Kildow, Addelyn and Ellynor McDaniel; his niece Angela Gill; and his nephews, David and Nathan Kane.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Jefferson Avenue Church in Blaise's memory.
