It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blaise Mitchell Reader Sr. of Beaver, Ohio, born in Rome, New York, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his great grandchild Roselynn Flanery; his siblings, Dennis and Ellen Naum; and his parents, George S. Reader and Elizabeth R. Mitchell-Reader.

He is survived by : his wife Karen; his children, Tina Kauffman (Chris), Blaise Reader Jr. (Mendy), Brian Reader (Alicia) and Charles Reader; the mother of his children Brenda Reader Erb; his daughters, Rosetta Houchin and Marcia Peters; his siblings, Brenda Bacik, George Reader, James P. Reader and Mary Beth Mead; and his grandchildren, Andrew Adams, Braiden Yates, Kindal Reader, Blaise Reader III, Brittney Reader, Bailey Reader, Blake Reader, Brylon Reader, Kaylea Zimmer, Charles Reader Jr., Elijah Flanery, Casey Crabtree, Sierra Simmons and Alex Boyd.
