She was predeceased by : her parents, Cullip Sr. and Druella of Washington; her son James Steward Sr.; her grandson James Jr.; and her siblings, Willie V. Banks, Cornelia Banks, Matilda Edwards, Fannie Mae Wiley, Cullip Jr. of Washington, Baker of Washington, James Robert of Washington and Roy of Washington.

She is survived by : her husband Ernest Jackson; her children, Mary Goodgame (Eddie), Judge Steward, Berlinda Fuller (Leonard), JoAnne Steward, Yvonne Steward and Sharita Jackson; and her siblings, Sandra of Washington, Joan Briggs (Ronald) and Will of Washington.
