Shelbra Haggins-Abedalrhim wrote a sympathy message

“He was a great man in his day. He had a real estate company, title company and a law practice. He served in the armed forces and reached the highest ranks. If he could help somebody he would. He will be truly missed. He had planned his burial. He stated to me that he wanted to be buried in Lakeview cemetery and had paid to have a statute placed on his grave. When its my time to go, I hope I am as prepared as he was and hope his family are able to comply with his wishes.”
