She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Brunson and Annie Bell Brunson; her sisters, Mary Beene, Willie Brunson, Emma Howell and Anne Lewis; her daughter Etta Milton; her son-in-law George Maki; and her grandson Christian Carter.
She is survived by: her friends, Barbara Moore and Delores Robinson; her children, Malekka Maki of Detroit, Giselle Spencer (Wesley) of Solon, Ohio and Ralph Johnson (Lisa) of Lyndhurst; her son-in-law Robert Milton of Forest Park, Ohio; her grandchildren, Courtney Larvadain (Russell), Isaiah Maki (Robyn), Samuel Maki, Janae Gilbert (Andre), Cameron Johnson and Kayla Milton; and her niece Barbara Bush. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of lifelong friends.
