He is survived by: his sister-in-law Rosa Dilworth of Huntsville; his son Lamar (Sally); his wife Mary Burton; his close friend Mayor Michael James; his sibling-in-law Gennette Burks of Detroit; his daughters, Ramona McCloud (Richard) and Angela Johnson (late Ivery); his grandchildren, Jacinda Sergent, Kimberly Pope (David), Marisa Pizii (Matthew), Christopher Johnson, Andrew McCloud, Bethany Johnson and Aaron McCloud (Amy); his stepgrandchildren, Jimmie Ware, Bridget Munoz and John Munoz; and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Job, Alexandra, Jazmine, Quentin, Gus, Veda, Danity, Chris and Trinity.
