He was predeceased by: his child Cillian O'Melia; his grandchildren, Clare, Niamh, Grainne, Aine, Darrah, Fiachra, Cillian and Ciaran; his siblings, Marie and Lorcan (Ruth); his sister-in-law Collette Mahoney (Pam O'Melia); and his siblings, Brendan, Pat and Gemma.
He is survived by: his wife Celine O'Melia; and his children, Emmet (Kalindi), Sean (Kelly), Ciara and Cormaic (Abby).
