Evelyn V. Stiver Obituary
Evelyn V. Stiver (nee Miller), age 90, of Bedford, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025.
Evelyn loved the great outdoors, especially being on the lake in Canada and relished her time spent there.
Evelyn's career was as an OB nurse, a calling that she loved and to which she was extremely dedicated. She worked for many years at Brentwood Hospital in Warrensville Heights and then the Cleveland Clinic after the hospital merger. She was known for always wearing her nurse's cap, for her happy and sunny disposition and for calling everyone "My Sweet Angel".
When not working Evelyn enjoyed painting and drawing. Her works were displayed in many different places from decorating the windows of the nursery, to painting scenery for numerous people. Later in life her joy was creating cartoons for the Bingo magazine.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters: Susan (Grant) Everett and Dianne (Roy) Stiver-Lang as well as her grandson, Benjamin Stiver.
