He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George M. Slaughter and Mildred Hill Slaughter; his close friend Eloise Thornton; his daughter Kim Bonaparte; his siblings, George Slaughter (Ruth), Bonnie Slaughter and Charlotte Burke; his nieces and nephews, Larry, Brandon Burke, Daryl, Leslie, Maria, Scott Ray and Johnna Johnson; his siblings, Patti Smith, Codell Hargraves and John Ray; and his nephew Frederick Hill (Butch). He was also cherished by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
