She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Robert and Minnie Carter; her husband Alvin "Bud" Lusk; and her siblings, Wanda Carter, Edward Carter (Crystal), John Paul Carter (Joan), Martha Tolliver (Amos), Frances Hatcher (Robert), Norma Riddle and Violet Moats.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Berry (Diane Avery) and Deana Montisano; her grandchildren, Kurt Berry (Brianna), Danielle McLeod (Michael) and Nicole Moone (Charlie); her great grandchildren, Tessa, Brooklyn, Logan, Finn, Peyton and Kinley; and her siblings, Ruth Smith (Ted), James Carter (Lorinda), Fred Carter (Brenda) and Danny Ray Carter (Brenda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
