He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Oboy and Sophia Vicker Oboy; and his siblings, Mary Yudasz, Ann Luginskie, Irene Balog, Geneva Piwkowski, Olga Lukacsko, John and Anthony Oboy.

He is survived by : his wife Ellen Vaglienti Oboy; his sons, Mark Oboy (Vicky), David Oboy (Michelle) and Scott Oboy (Gayle); his grandchildren, Zachary Oboy, Lydia Oboy, Sarah Oboy, Matthew Oboy and Tyler Oboy; and his siblings, Stella Zavacky and Joe Oboy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Catholic Church in Bellaire or to the charity of the donor's choice.
