She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Kauffman and Jean Kauffman (Dalby); and her husband Robert Schmitt. She is survived by: her son Timothy [Melanie] Schmitt of Bellaire, OH; her grandchildren, Addison Schmitt of Liberia, Africa and Marissa Schmitt of Gardiner, NY; and her sisters, Kay Gonzalez, Diane Orum and Melody Botizan.
