With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fredr Kovalo (Bellaire, Ohio), who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Fredr may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Olga Rubcich Kovalo; his mother Smelia Ivkovich Kovalo; his grandmother Mary Ivkovich; his uncle Samuel; his aunt Elizabeth Ivkovich; his cousins, Samuel and Joseph Ivkovich; and his brother Jim Kovalo.
He is survived by: his sister Carma Kovalo; and his sister-in-law Sherry Kovalo. He is also survived by cousins, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Powhatan Cemetery.
