He is survived by: his wife Carol (Kimmel); his sons, Jeff Phillips (Michael) of South Carolina and Jeremy Phillips (Erica); his grandchildren, Sydney and Calvin Phillips; and his sister Mary Freyholtz of Marion Ind.
