He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burkhart and Mona Marie Burkhart (Ramsey); his son John Burkhart of Dayton; and his sister Hazel Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Betty Olack Burkhart; his daughters, Anita Usnick (James) of Jacobsburg and Charlotte Ostrander (Paul) of Bellaire, Ohio.; his sisters, Dee Allison (Robert) of Michigan and Joann Burkhart of Mingo Junction, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Alannah, Lauren and Ethan Ostrander. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
