With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David John Finlay of Bellbrook, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David John Finlay to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John M. Finlay and Edith I. Beals Finlay; and his sister Marilyn F. Russell. He is survived by : his wife Alice Finlay (Atkins); his sister Janet (Jim); his nephews, Greg Russell (Kelly), Nolan Russell (Danielle Katterhenry) and Nathan Russell (Kate); and his niece Natalie Reed (Travis). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews in New Jersey, several other relatives, and by many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, at hsdayton.org, or to the Wounded Warriors Project, at support.woundedwarriorsproject.org, in his memory.
