Maxson S. Clarke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxson S. Clarke of Bellbrook, Ohio, born in Lockport, New York, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Maxson leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Edwards; his sons, David (Sue) and Scott (Linda); his daughters-in-law, Sue and Linda; and his grandchildren, Justin, Alanna and Rachel.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to Ohio's Hospice (https://www.ohioshospice.org) of Dayton.
