The family announces the passing of Connie L. Rhoades of Belle Center, Ohio on August 25, 2026. Connie, born on October 3, 1946, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merton Stanley Compton and Carrie Elizabeth Triplett (Wiggins); her grandson Nicholas Richard Baughman; and her brother Merton Samuel Compton. She is survived by: her husband Robert Howard Rhoades; her children, Catherine E. Oder (Steve) and R. Paul Rhoades; her grandchildren, Lindze Trivits (Matthew), Kelsey Conklin (Joshua), Emily Slayback (Gage) and Charlotte Rhoades; her great grandchildren, Adelia, Leyna, Wren, Trivits of Texas, Caroline, Eleanor Conklin, Kayce and Calvin Slayback; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Culver, Sondra Rhoades and Linda Compton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center (321 N Main St, Bellefontaine, OH 43311). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (316 E Patterson Ave, Bellefontaine, OH 43311).
