He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Royer and Thelma Royer; his wife Mariann Wienken; his son Larry Royer; and his grandchildren, Kristi Newfer and John Newfer.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Royer (Brenda) of Roundhead, Julie Collins of Lima and Sally Newfer (Gary) of Roundhead; his daughter-in-law Kristi Royer of Roundhead; and his grandchildren, Paige Collins, Spencer Collins, Garrett Royer, Willow Lowery, Noah Lowery, Bri Viera (Wayne), Shawn DeLong and Caleb DeLong. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
