She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Dale Langstaff and Leola Maxine Langstaff (Neal); her son Daryl F. Hemphill; her parents-in-law, Paul F. Hemphill and Betty L. Hemphill (Broadstone); and her brother-in-law Kent Frazelle.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel L. Hemphill; her son David (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Savannah Hemphill and Cole Hemphill; her siblings, Connie (Chuck), Davis, Dalene Frazelle and Dale (Kathy); and her sister-in-law Donna (Keith). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
