We announce the death of Ernest E. Carter of Bellefontaine, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 70. Ernest will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Ernest H. and Carie Mae (Jones) Carter; wife: Tami Johns; children: Lauren Carter, Bryant Carter, Kerri Rogan, Shareas Carter, and Tamika Carter; grandchildren: Ruby Jo, Peyton, Garrison, Kyra, Jazz, and Kai; sisters: Elaine (Leonard) Woods, Rhonda Collier, Lena (Jerry) Peaks, Christina (Rick) Williams, and Lorena (Joe) Brenner; late son: Jayson Sims; late sisters: Alice Wilson, Carolyn Ladd, and Twila Suber; special friend: Maurice Wilson; other: Rick Carter, Pastor Robin Ricks; and many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christ Our King Church (1325 Co Rd 9, Bellefontaine, OH 43311). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
