We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2025, at the age of 96, Helen Thompson of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John James and Mamie James (Groves); her husband Douglas Lee Thompson; her daughter Cheri Osteen; her granddaughter Tammy Randall; her siblings, Earl James, Richard James, Ruth Akers, Mildred Hill and Norma Jean Stanbro; and her daughter-in-law Deb Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Thompson (Cindy) of Bellefontaine, Craig Thompson of Bellefontaine and Connie Rose (Bill) of Bellefontaine; her grandchildren, David Osteen (Gwen), Mandy Godwin (Corey), Karla Romine (Joni), Ryan Thompson (Nicole), Heather Miller (Troy) and Robin Dallas-Rose (Dawn); and her friend Jenny Mosier of Bellefontaine. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
