She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Carl" Baughman and Mattie Evelyn Baughman (Hites); her husband Donald M. Heminger; her grandson William Matthew Nichols; and her siblings, Dorcas Robb, Margaret "Peg" Robb, Ada Robb, Vivian Schrader, Harold Baughman and Arthur Baughman.

She is survived by: her children, Margie Nichols (Bill) of Bellefontaine and Donald Heminger (Sandy Griffith) of Newark, Ohio; and her grandsons, Gregory Nichols (Sheila Lynn), Justin Nichols (Carolee) and Dustin Nichols (Tara). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1140 Rush Ave, Bellefontaine, OH 43311). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
