We announce the death of Marcus J. Taylor of Bellefontaine, Ohio, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 73. Marcus will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marcus will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Marcus will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Marcus’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Elmer and Donna Belle Taylor (Dobie). He is survived by: his wife Elaine M. Burden; his sons, Travis Taylor (Mindy) and Jeremy Taylor (Gina); and his grandchildren, Caleb, Macey, Ava and Parker.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home (5591 US-68, West Liberty, OH 43357).
In lieu of designating an organization for memorial contributions, the family kindly asks that all offer a prayer and extend help to someone in need.
