She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lance and Julia Lance; her husband William Metz Jr.; her son Jeff Metz; and her brother Daniel Jeack.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Metz (Bettie) of Sandusky and Tammy Metz of Fremont; her stepgrandchildren, Cameron and Christian; and her cousin Donna.
