He is survived by: his wife Katharina Gardner (Frank); and his siblings, Bonnie Smetzer of Clyde, Berdella Urban of Tiffin, Larry Gardner (Ruthie) of Bellevue, Wilbert Gardner (Patricia) of Bellevue and Colleen Swartz (Roy) of Clyde.
