He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Zieber (Keller) and Jerald J. Zieber; his siblings, Jerry Zieber and Mary; and his brother-in-law Rob Moffit.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Laura and Greg; his grandchildren, Andrew, Brendan, Cami and Tyler; and his siblings, Ted Zieber (Debbie) of Mansfield, Paul Zieber of Columbus and Ann Wright (Nelson) of Bellevue. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made, if desired to Stein Hospice of Western Reserve or the Cancer Services of Sandusky or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
