He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude J. Kern and Edna P. Kern (Ingram); his wife Dolores (DeCaro); his son Mark Stegman; his brothers, Ralph, Robert, Donald, Kenneth and Charles Kern; and his great grandchild Noah Stegman.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Stegman of Bellevue and Donna Schaffer (Paul, Sr.) of Bellevue; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Stegman; and his great grandchild Maddy. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Foos & Foos Funeral Service (151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
