He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl F. Ries and Betty Ries (Wobser); his brother Fred Ries; and his brother-in-law Jerry Dick. He is survived by : his siblings, Tom Ries (Rhonda) of Bellevue and Shirley Dick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
