She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Friend and Margaret Friend (Callaghan); her husband George W. Solander; her daughter Amy Solander; and her grandson C. Lance Marshall.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret "Peggy" Marshall of Phoenix and George C. Solander (Rebecca) of Sycamore; her granddaughter Kathryn Marshall of Phoenix; and her sister Carolyn J. Nieset.
