He was predeceased by: his parents, Roe Vollmar and Eva Vollmar (Halbeisen); his sisters, Carolyn Vollmar, Janice Strickland, Nancy Huth and Alice Seville; and his son Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Weaver); his children, Laura Fulkert (John), Jane Hoffman (John) and Hans Raifsnider (Lori); and his siblings, Donald Vollmar (Mary Pat), Mark Vollmar (Kelly), Bobbie Schaeffer (Don), Sharon Meyer, Dawn Grone (Michael), Rachael Hazelbaker (Robert) and Maribeth Langford (Mike). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Foos & Foos Funeral Service (151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gaspar Del Bufalo Church (16209 Co Rd 46, Bellevue, OH 44811). The military honors will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the St. Michaels Cemetery. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the same location.
