He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Carleton and Dorothy Greenslade Kinney; and his siblings, Will Carleton Jr. (Carl), Esther Gertrude (Trudi) and Mary Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce May Kautzman; his daughters, Carol Kinney (George Ludovici) of Bronx, Joan Fletcher (Tom Wells) of Hallieford, Virginia and Dorothy (Dee); and his friends, Kevin, Jenny Oney, Chuck Stein, Anne Shelley, Roger and Joyce.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts given in Roger's name be directed to the Lyme Village Historical Society, in honor of his lifelong dedication to the community and its history.
