He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Hay and Rose Marie Hay (Hipp); his siblings, Dennis, Frederic Hay, Barbara Risner and Sharon Durnwald; his parents-in-law, Jake and Dolores Dendinger; and his brother-in-law Dean Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hay (Dendinger); his daughters, Mindy Fazio (Corey "Corky") of Bellevue and Missy Eberle (John) of Bellevue; his grandchildren, Savannah Dolores Fazio, Callie Rose Fazio, Reese Mckenna Fazio, Ella Ann Eberle, Ian Edward Eberle and Zane Steven Eberle; his siblings, Larry Hay (Eileen) of Clyde, Kathi Miller of Bellevue and Sandy Dean (Bill) of Bellevue; and his brothers-in-law, Charlie Durnwald and Frank Risner.
A rosary was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Foos & Foos Funeral Service (151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Fremont (550 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH 43420).
