She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Brown and Anna Brown (Bailey); her husband Jasper "Junior" Stapleton; her daughter Mary Marlene Dean-Rose; her daughter-in-law Lorrie Ann Stapleton (Lewis); and her siblings, Lonnie, William, Carl, Carol and Beatrice.

She is survived by : her children, Alice Ann Carter, Junior Dale Stapleton, Terri Sue Stapleton, Clarence Earl Stapleton (Jodi) and Harold Delane Stapleton; and her siblings, Edgar, Roger, Betty, Shirley and Neva. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Granddaughters.
