He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Arthur and Gladys Mae Barrett (McClure); and his brother Charles Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hardman; his children, John Barrett (Deborah) of North Liberty, Bill Barrett (Regina) of North Liberty and Peggy Boch (Neil) of Bremen; his grandchildren, Jaime Zeger, David Barrett (Tara), Nicole Siders (Garry), Michelle Boch and Natalie Kennedy; his sister Mary Barrett; and his sister-in-law Janice Barrett. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
